‘Genuine visions’
In a studio setup, with different light sources, glass and fluids, I try to recreate certain imagery and phenomena I find around me.
This is an ongoing experimental research into archetypical imagery and their effect on our perception.

Starting this research was a series of photographs, using different lights, chemicals and liquids to create images similar to galactic bodies. These works would later become the groundwork on which my other works, experiments and research would come to life. I had felt an inherent urge to recreate these galactic images, that so often show the vastness of space. Would I be able to bring it closer somehow?
MGC is short for My General Catalogue.
